Lomba - S. Tiago

data access 15919

The local population reports the existence of wells that they attribute to the Moors.

Information collected from residents indicates the existence of two wells between Santiago and S. Domingos and others near the Church of S. Tiago.

The two wells between S. Tiago and S. Domingos - Lomba 1 - are quadrangular in shape, around 2 m wide and are grounded.

The possible connection of the wells to each other, mentioned by local inhabitants, was impossible to confirm, as the wells were grounded. However, the earth fell and it was possible to locate it. No associated materials were found.
