Villa Rustica (Lohnweiler)

Villa Rustica with large farm buildings known since 1973. Due to building activities a hypocaust system and cellar were excavated. In 1988 remnants of larger structures were excavated. ¹

Remains are barely visible from the street.

House construction in the 80s and location under several private buildings were holding back further excavations. In November 2025 the local administration designated the area archeological interest for further examination.²
