Batavian Revolt
The Roman army under Cerialis attacked the Treverer here in Oktober 70. The Roman infantry attacked from the northeast, and the cavalry rode thorugh the valley of the Fellerbach on the left flank of the Treverii.. When the Treverii fled, the cavalry fell upon them killing most of them. Valentinius, one of the leaders was captured. The next day, Trier capitulated
