Remains of a pottery were found during construction of a new road (B270) in 2002. An emergency excavation was carried out and during a three-week period several remains of an industrial use of the site were uncovered. These included one square and two round pottery kilns and trash mounds that were filled with discarded pottery remains, that were probably thrown out after production. Also a well and a completely preserved wooden bucket.
Due to financial and administrative pressure, the excavation was ended after the set period and the road was built over the site, rendering it inaccessible today.
