The forest way nearby today is named Steinernebrückschneise what says that there has been a stone bridge over the Luderbach. The Luderbach area has some celtic settlements and hill graves from Hallstatt era, so this is a very old settlement area. The roman camp which has approx 160 by 105 meters is only visible on special amplified lidar maps ( https://celtic-fields.com/Hessen/Sprendlingen-Ost.htm ) and it is nearby of the the roman road linking Frankfurt Sachsenhäuser Warte over Dietzenbach and Thomashütte to Dieburg. Maybe this roman road is nicely visible on the Lidar map by some other lines. Otherwise this Lidar map shows many so called "Celtic Fields" which are arround this place. Today this is rarely visited part of the forest. Something about the celtic settlements in this area can be found here: https://www.freunde-sprendlingens.de/arch%C3%A4ologie/ur-sprendlingen-am-luderbach/ The construction time of this roman camp is unknown at the moment, see also https://celtic-fields.com/CFsUndRoemer.htm
