The find took place during the archaeological monitoring of the Opening of a trench for the installation of the irrigation system as part of an agricultural conversion.
As a result, an intervention was carried out which resulted in the identification of four burial graves that are generically characterised by ditches excavated in the rocky substrate, structured by tegulae and/or sides whose associated collection consisted of ceramic and glass containers, a numism and a piece of adornment.
The analysis of the artefactual set suggests a chronology that is generally coeval with the occupation pointed out for the nearby Roman Villa, from the first to the fourth century of our era (by Era Arqueologia, 2024)
