Annotations

The stele discovered near  Karansebes in Hungary  was offered by Aelius Habibis, the priest of the local Palmyrans. This funerery stele dates back to the late IInd or early IIIrd century AD. Strele contains Latin inscription and name Guru Ben, Jaddai optio offered by his heir Habibi in Palmyran characters.
