Annotations

Mezgit Castle which is also known as the Cenotaph of the Fearless King by the public. It is one of the greatest Kilikia temple graves, dates back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.C. as belonging the Roman era and is well preserved. On the back pediment of of the monumental grave at the center there are relievo of a sword and a scorprion. The most important quality of of the monumental grave is the relievo carved into the side wall stone of the podium at the front.
