The site was discovered in 1991, during the fied surveys, and classified as a point Multicultural stand 9 in Stanisławice, commune Bochnia. Archaeological works yielded remains of the Swiderian culture, Janisławice culture, Funnel Beaker culture,
Corded Ware culture, Mierzanowice culture, as well as from the late Middle Ages and modern as well.
