Achaemenid to modern times citadel of Kabul. Badly damaged and reshaped from the 19th c. to recent times. Fieldwork by Marquis (DAFA, 2007).

Kabul western and southern old wall (1 km)

Series of stone and mud-brick walls, running along Sher Darwaza and Asma'i ridges. Possible Hunnic origin, rebuilt in Mughal and colonial times. Partially destroyed.
