Myndos`Asar Island Basilica

The church and its monastery on the Asar/Tavşan Island  was a pilgrimage temple. Asar basilica dates to the fifth century. In the second half of the sixth century the church was damaged and never rebuilt. The pavement mosaics were laid in the fifth century.
