The monastery complex of Termanin (Turmanin) occupied a crest of a knoll  in a branch of a road NE of modern Turmanin village.The ruins of Deir Turmanin includes a splendid fifth century basilica (https://vici.org/vici/23973/) , in northern part some stone tombs. To the right was a pandocheion (inn for pilgrims). To the ist was a residential part of monastery.. Between it and  pandocheion was a great water basin. The most highest part of a hill occupied church. Thick wall surrounded the whole comlex. pandocheilon was lage (23x35 m) two storeys building with two storeys high peristil of monolithic piers.
