Meryem Ana Kilisesi - Mother Mary's Church (East Church) is located in the monastery complex. It was a baptistery church as well. According to N. Öztürk Öztürk the architecture of the church is very similar to that of the Hagia Sophia, dating back to 532-537 A.D.,
