Old Akkadian (ca. 2340-2200 BC) period statue made of copper discovered in modern village Bassetki. Currently in National Museum of Iraq, Baghdad, Iraq (IM 77823). On the round base was curved a Royal Inscription of Naram-Sin of Agade (2291-2255 BC). Of the staue preserved a lower part of seated nude male figure, wearing belt around waist with its legs twisted sideways. The statue was stolen during museum looting and recovered in November 2003.
