Tarḫuntašša - city of Tarhunta was a Hittite Bronze Age city in Anatolia mentioned in Hittite documents. Tarhuntassa was a capital of Hittite after king Muwatalli II (r.  1291–1272 BC) moved the Hittite capital from Hattusa.His son Mursili III (r. c. 1272–1267 BC)later moved the capital back to Hattusa. Its location is unknown.
