Annotations

The Church of Papylos (Church IV) stands at the northern end of the chasm. It was a three-aisle basilica founded by some Papyloa at the end of the fifth century. The inscription above the main entrance reads as follows: This is the door leading to God. Those who enter, are saved. God help me.
