Annotations

The Amaronxas Family Grave carved in a rectangular niche (4 x 2 m) into the rock wall of the holy chasm dates to the Roman period. It depicts a funeral feast scene of a family of six persons: the father and mother live next to their four children. One of them is a boy and three are girls. There is included a five-line inscription on the right side of the relief with the names of the family.
