Annotations

Aktopraklık Höyük is located in  the east of Akcilar Town. It consists of three settlements on the ridges of two stream beds extending to Lake Ulubat.
Aktopraklık  C represents the Fikirtepe culture features. The Round-shaped structures with burials which were unearthed in there. These were branch lodges date to the sixth millenium  B.C. They had an economy based on agriculture, animal husbandry and hunting. The area, which was later used as the Early Chalcolithic Age cemetery, was resettled in the Roman Age.
The remains of the Early Chalcolithic Age were unearthed in areas B and A of Actopraklik. The settlements were surrounded by a ditch.
