Famous monopteral temple of Dionysus the great diety of Teians designed by architect Hermogenes of Priene. It wa sexcavated in the late XIXth century by the Society of Dilettanti. Later it became a marble quarry of one citizen of Smyrna so when French scholars worked there in 1924 little remained but foundations1.
