Ain Karem also known as Ain Karim, Ain Karem, ’Ayn Karim and En Kerem is a historic mountain village southwest of Jerusalem. According to the tradition John the Baptist was born in Ein Karem. inthe village near the spring the MBA pottery was unearthed.>
