An ancient settlement not far from Piazza Armerina, in the municipality of Mazzarino. Archaeological finds suggest it was inhabited from the early Roman Imperial period to the third century A.D., when it was abandoned. The site was then re-occupied during the Middle Ages.The three necropolises are to the east, west and north of the settlement.
