Unidentified site
Probable archaeological site. Round site on a natural riverine terrasse, visite on 2002 satellite imagery, since destroyed. Possibly associated with Kheirabad fire temple complex.
Baqāyā-ye pol-e Sāsānī-ye Kheyrābād
Ruined bridge (Sassanian or medieval Islamic?), of which only the southern arch remains. Discussed in A. Stein (1940).
Unidentified site - Rāsīn (?)
Single small mound at the opening of the old Kheirabad bridge. Possibly part of a larger site on alluvial terrasse, detected on 2002 satellite imagery. As such possible candidate for the medieval town of of Rāsīn (Al-Istakhri (10th c.).
