The settlement mound (about 11 m high) near the village of Ezero (Dipsizka Mound) is located north-northeast of the village, about 1.2 - 1.3 km from its center and about 2.5 km south-southeast of the center of Nova Zagora. It was excavated in 1952 - 1958 and 1961 - 1971. . It was inhabited during the Neolithic, Chalcolithic and Bronze Ages. Remains are housed at the National Archaeological Institute with Museum in Sofia and at the Historical Museum in Nova Zagora.
