The whole area surrounding "Auf der Platte"/"Auf Schwanner Höhe"/"Alte Römerstraße" was designate as archeological sanctuary zone in April 2025.
Geoprospection is assuming a Linear Pottery Culture settlement, but it is also deemed to unearth fragments from the republican period.
It is assumed that a roman villa rustica is buried about 300-500 north-west of the indicated location. It is highly likely that it is located directly on an old roman road traveling from Bad Kreuznach going to Kusel-Tholey, which is still visible today. (Alte Römerstraße)
