Annotations

Italica: Roman colony in western Andalusia, not far from Seville (the Roman Hispalis).

Italica was the first city founded in Roman Hispania and also outside Italian territory, by Scipio in 206 BC. This was the home of Trajan and Hadrian, who later became in Roman emperors.
